What is my role as an educator in the course?

As an educator, Under Pressure is an ideal method to foster critical thinking and media literacy amongst students. Specially trained peer educators take the hard work off your hands and start the discussion with students in a guest lecture.

In order to successfully start with the course, we expect students to have a basic understanding of disinformation. That’s why we’ve developed a basic lesson plan to help both students and educators prepare for the course, consisting of a one hour lesson.

During the peer educator lessons we expect a teacher to be present at all times. While our peer educators are trained to deal with uncooperative students, it is always important to have at least one teacher present.
